pCloud Business trial: 30 days free for a team of 3 or more

Last reviewed 6 October 2026

Quick answerStart the 30-day pCloud Business trial when 3 or more people will share client folders, and expect billing to begin when it ends. A freelancer working alone can try Dropbox Standard, which covers 1 person or more.

pCloud Business trial: length, team size and billing

pCloud Business has a 30-day free trial, and it is the only trial pCloud offers. After the trial, Business for 3 users and 3 TB was $29.97 a month, billed monthly ($9.99 per user), on pCloud's US Business page on 19 September 2026.

pCloud's Business page offers a 30-day free trial for teams of at least 3 users, while its help center describes one month free for 5 users, so confirm the number of users when you sign up for the trial.

Billing starts by itself: the Business Agreement says the customer is charged automatically, without further notice, when any trial period expires. pCloud's pages do not say whether a card is needed to start the trial.

What the pCloud Business trial includes for client work

pCloud's help center says the trial has full functionality and no charge during it. The Business page lists these features for client work:

  • Access levels and teams: roles for the people on the account.
  • Branding: personalized links with your logo, cover and message.
  • Activity logs: detailed logs per user and team.
  • File history: previous versions restorable from up to 180 days back.
  • Large files: unlimited file size upload, 1 TB of storage per user.

pCloud's pages do not say whether Business links take a password or an expiry date, so look for those settings during the 30 days. pCloud Business pricing covers the plans.

pCloud personal plans: no trial, a 14-day refund window

No pCloud personal plan has a free trial. On pCloud's US pricing page on 3 October 2026, Premium 500 GB was $4.99 a month, billed monthly, beside a 14-day money-back guarantee.

pCloud's terms refuse a refund for unused days after you cancel, yet also promise your money back if you ask in writing within 14 calendar days of paying, so treat those 14 days as the only refund window. The same terms let pCloud decline a refund on a purchase made through a promotion or discount, so do not count on a refund if you buy at a discounted price.

A free Basic account starts at 2 GB and reaches up to 10 GB, with no credit card. pCloud Transfer is a separate free service for sends up to 5 GB; check the per-file limit shown on its page before sending one large file.

Take a consultant who wants client report links protected by a password and set to expire after the review. pCloud's help center calls both Premium features, which means a paid plan, and the Business trial starts at 3 users.

Canceling the Business trial and refunds after it

Only the Business account owner can cancel the Business subscription, so whoever opens the account should decide whether the trial continues. After the trial there is no refund promise for Business to count on, and the pCloud Business review explains where pCloud's own pages disagree.

Pick the Business trial when 3 or more people will share client folders. Pick Dropbox Standard when you work alone: Dropbox lists it for 1 person or more and shows a "Try for free or buy now" button. Pick Sync.com Teams when a team wants a 30-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee, with a 3-user minimum.
