Best inside an office suite: Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
Microsoft 365 Business Basic gives 1 TB a user for 1 to 300 users. Google Workspace Business Starter gives 30 GB pooled a user for up to 300 users, with a 14-day trial. Pick Microsoft 365 Business Basic for 1 TB a user on a yearly plan; its trial runs a month and asks for a card.
Best for client portals: Sync.com Teams
Sync.com Teams 1TB is $6 a user a month billed annually or $8 billed monthly, both at the regular price; Sync's page also shows lower first-year prices. Sync's client file portal lets clients send files without an account, with upload and view notifications, and the clients you share with do not count as users. The minimum is 3 users, custom branding starts on the 2TB plan, and Sync lists a 30-day trial and money-back guarantee.
Dropbox Standard and Box Business Starter
Dropbox Standard starts from 1 person, with 3 TB for the team and transfers up to 100 GB. Box Business Starter is for up to 10 users, with a minimum of 3, a 2 GB file limit and e-signatures. Dropbox alternatives for business and pCloud vs Box go further. pCloud Business and Sync.com Teams both list 30-day trials, and Google Workspace lists 14 days.
